Hot Chocolate

warm drinks are always a way to ground me and keep me at peace. the one you see in the picture is a hot chocolate i had when i was in Spain. i like to enjoy my drinks with a serene view of the atmosphere that surrounds me. in this case, although not visible, i was sat by a window atop a mountain in Seville. memories like those are ones i wish i could relive. i've always had a tough time 'living in the moment'. i want to enjoy the time i spend doing things like this, but i'm so caught up with the other parts of my life that i often forget that they are simply temporary.

connaissance

Vast Library

i like learning. i like knowing things. everyday we learn something new. it's pretty much inevitable to learn, and i embrace it wholly. a big part of who i am is my desire to pursue knowledge in it's many forms. i read, i research, i inquire, i discuss, i debate, i reflect, i ponder. all of it with the intent of understanding what shapes us as beings and what makes the world spin. in this pursuit of knowledge, i've learned more about myself by extension. it's beautiful in a way. we will never be able to fathom the vastness of human knowledge. i know i'll never know everything, but i want to know more than just something.

voyages

Dockside View

i travel with my family.

a LOT.

i feel that every country i've ever visited in my life so far has changed me in one way or another. good, or bad. as of now, i've traveled to nearly 40 countries, mostly within Europe, North America and some in the Middle East/North Africa. as a result, i've been exposed to a plethora of unique and magnificent cultures and traditions. it's given me a new perspective on life. we all have preconceived notions of countries or cities, and these can vary. but what i love is that every single preconceived notion i had for the countries i've visited have been a stark contrast to what they actually are. these places may not have the greatest reputation, but that can depend on personal experience. in my personal experience, i've never had a dull moment when traveling. beauty is in the eye of the beholder. something doesn't objectively have to be beautiful for you to see it as that.
